The DSC supports the organization of the hybrid “Interactive Sonification Workshop” (ISon 2022)
The DSC Seed Grant goes to Dr. Tim Ziemer to support the implementation of hands-on tutorials at ISon 2022.
The
Interactive Sonification Workshop (ISon 2022) takes place on September 22-23 as hybrid event at the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK) in Delmenhorst. Sonification is the presentation of data using intelligible sound, e.g., for monitoring complex processes, or assisting exploration of and navigation through data spaces; i.e., it is a sub-discipline of data science. Tiltification , the impactful spirit level sonification app for Android and iOS developed by the students of the masters project “Sonification Apps”.
Funding recipient:
Dr. Tim Ziemer (Faculty 3 – Mathematics and Computer Science; Bremen Spatial Cognition Center (BSCC))
Funding period:
