SHORT PROFILE
Benedikt J. Plate graduated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration specializing in Accounting and Corporate Taxation from the University of Bremen in July 2023 and has been working as a research assistant at the Chair of Accounting and Control since then.

His research focuses on empirical capital market research, specifically the complexity of digital financial reporting and the application of artificial intelligence in financial reporting. His methodological orientation primarily involves classical econometric models as well as methods of supervised machine learning and natural language processing based on archival quantitative and unstructured data.
