SHORT PROFILE
Daniel Metko completed his master’s degree in business administration at the University of Bremen in 2016. After a one-year stay in Frankfurt, where he worked as a quantitative analyst for an investment consultancy, he has been working as a research assistant and PhD student at the University of Bremen since 2017.

The focus of his research is the investigation of the benefits of machine learning methods versus conventional statistical methods for various types of accounting and finance issues. The programming languages MATLAB and Python are primarily used to conduct the research.
