SHORT PROFILE
Aseem Kinra received his bachelor at the Delhi University followed by a master’s degree in business administration. He went on to accomplish a MSc in Economics and Business Administration, followed by a Phd in Supply Chain Management at the Copenhagen Business School, where he graduated in 2009. He worked as an as an Assistant and later as an Associate professor at the Copenhagen Business School, where he also led the Graduate Diploma program in Supply Chain Management.

Aseem Kinra is the appointed Professor for Global Supply Chain Management at Uni Bremen, since 2019. His research focuses on value, barriers and complexity in cross-border supply chains, especially in relation to logistics and transportation systems. Moreover, he researches the applicability and adoption of various information and transportation technologies in this context, both within private and public-sector management.

Aseem co-chairs the Special Interest Group B1– Logistics and Freight Transport Operations on Supply Chain Management, is one of the founding members of E1 on Transport Systems Analysis and Economic Evaluation, and serves on the scientific and steering committess of the World Conference on Transportation Research Society (WCTRS). He also coordinates the DigiLoOp project as part of the Diginomics research initiative at the Faculty of Business Studies and Economics (Wirtschaftswissenschaft) at the University of Bremen.
